In 2023 we initiated a TWAILR Academy project to bring together international law scholars and practitioners to address global challenges with a particular focus on issues in the Global South. The Academy includes lectures, discussions, and writing workshops for emerging scholars, graduate students, and legal practitioners to share their perspectives and receive feedback on scholarly projects. The first iteration of the TWAILR Academy was held in Bogotá, Colombia in 2023, and we hope to organise further iterations in the coming years.
